Fallen women’s apparel giant Peter Nygard will be extradited to the U.S. to face criminal charges there after addressing sex-crime allegations in Canada.

On March 22, federal Minister of Justice and Attorney General David Lametti, responsible for deciding to send the 80-year-old Nygard to the U.S., took to Twitter to share the news.

“Earlier today [March 22], I ordered that Peter Nygard be surrendered for extradition to the United States to face charges there, but only after current criminal charges in Canada have been addressed,” Lametti tweeted.
